This project involved the restoration of 105 steel, aluminum and wood windows. The process required the photo documented location of each window to ensure proper reinstallation. The restoration process for the windows included stripping of lead base paint, removal of old glazing, and glass. Wood windows were repaired and refitted with new glass and glazing. All steel and wood surfaces were then primed and painted to match the original coloring. Existing bronze hardware was polished and restored to original finish and missing components were replicated.
This project received the ABC Excellence in Construction Award.
